Marron Institute of Urban Management at New York University

The NYU Marron Institute conducts innovative applied research, working with cities to take on critical challenges of urban living.  The Marron Institute has five major research programs focused on urban planning, environmental health, civic analytics, transportation and land use, and public sector performance and innovation. The Health, Environment, and Policy Program at the Marron Institute, led by Dr. Kevin Cromar, works to improve health through scientific research, direct policy engagement and collaboration with agencies at the local, federal, and international level. Founded in 1905, the American Thoracic Society is the world's leading medical association dedicated to advancing pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine. The Society’s more than 16,000 members prevent and fight respiratory disease around the globe through research, education, patient care and advocacy. The ATS publishes four journals, the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, the American Journal of Respiratory Cell and Molecular Biology, the Annals of the American Thoracic Society, and ATS Scholar.
